God’s Rich Blessings Will Not Fail
Not at all! They cannot fail as truly as the conditions are fulfilled; as truly as your heart is right before God; as truly as you have unreservedly devoted yourself and surrendered to God and His will.
God is unspeakably good and unspeakably rich; He is absolutely impartial. Therefore you—whoever you are—will most certainly be showered with blessings all the days of your life from moment to moment if your heart is right before Him, if you rely on Him alone.
If God does not bless you continuously on all your ways, then there is something wrong with you. God’s heart burns with a desire to bless. When you are not blessed and if you are not being blessed continuously it is simply because He, according to His own conditions that ought to be known by us all, cannot bless.
As soon as the heart is right before God, His manifold blessings will pour over us! Glory be to His name!
It is His great desire to bless when the conditions are fulfilled; then it is not a question about a little bit, neither is it a question of a fair amount, and hardly about much. Even that is insufficient to satisfy God’s immeasurably great goodness! God be praised!
We are powerfully strengthened in this by the example of Abraham. He fulfilled the condition by taking this stand: “I will take nothing from a thread to a sandal strap . . . I will not take anything . . . .” Gen. 14:23-24. Therefore God said to him, “Your reward shall be very great.” Ch. 15:1. And in verse 5 we read, “‘Look now toward heaven and count the stars if you are able to number them.’ And He said to him, ‘So shall your descendants be.’”
His reward was truly very great! God is the same today. He still rewards just as richly. He neither needs to nor does He have a desire to be sparing in His blessings. He is a strong supporter of everyone whose heart is wholly for Him.
Therefore it is up to each individual how things will turn out for him in the future. Everyone who so desires can devote himself to God in such a way that his life becomes a journey of blessings. May this be the experience of everyone who reads these lines.
