Without Demands

Without Demands

It happens that people are commended for being without demands. This is actually an extremely good commendation. However, more often than not it is a wild exaggeration because there is almost no one on earth who does not make demands. Only the very few who are crucified with Christ (as mentioned in Galatians 2:20) make no demands.

As for the rest, people are usually more or less full of demands! It is the people who make fewer demands than people in general who receive the good commendation that they make no demands. Yet in actual fact, that is not true. Even these kinds of people make demands, though they can be significantly less than the demands that most people make.

Being full of demands is the same as causing pain.

Therefore, may every one in particular be without demands in truth. Then it will be really good to live.
