The True and the False Vine

“I am the true vine . . . .” John 15:1. Jesus is the true vine. The Antichrist is the false vine. Who is able to discern between these two vines?

There is much good that is done in the eyes of man, but it is not done in Jesus’ name. People are admired and praised for these deeds, and they feel honored. They feel they don’t need to get converted, for they are so good. They are branches on Antichrist, the earthly vine. It will be a terrible day when this vine is harvested.

“So the angel thrust his sickle into the earth and gathered the vine of the earth, and threw it into the great winepress of the wrath of God.” Read Revelation 14:19-20.

Never be deceived by this vine. All welfare work that is not done in Jesus’ name is deception. It has the appearance of Christianity in practice, but Jesus does not fit into their closing celebrations.

Be a branch on the true vine, even though men despise your goodness. Your fruit will be treasures in heaven, for we must believe what Jesus says: “For without Me you can do nothing.”
