Good Intentions
The Pentecostals’ full cleansing consists of having good intentions that are often hindered from being executed (Lærum’s book). Thank you very much! We too have come to that kind of full cleansing a long time ago! And much more than that!
In the same way, old br. Seehuus explained a few years ago that when it is written that we shall perfect godliness [sanctification] in the fear of God, it does not mean in deed, because even the best people have their faults. He said that we are to be perfected in love. Yet Jesus says that the love of God is that we keep His commandments. Love and works is the same thing.
Apparently, the same thing was meant in: Good Intentions.
All this is childishness. We ought to understand from the time we are first converted to God—even before we are converted to God—that God saves us unto works and the truth.
