Crossroads! Stop, Look and Listen!

  • 1. Be hospitable, but don’t abuse hospitality when you are the guest.
  • 2. It is good to work in every place and in every way—just don’t forget the collection box.
  • 3. Do not praise anyone too highly; the seed is in danger until the harvest.
  • 4. Don’t dress two ways, plainly when you go to the meeting and fashionably when you want to make a good impression according to the flesh.
  • 5. It can be profitable to sit near the collection box and observe now and then.
  • 6. It is possible to say many things in a testimony, but those who seek God’s honor are honest and without guile.
  • 7. Self-consciousness is usually linked to showing partiality. If you are saved from the latter, then you will quite naturally be freed from the former.
