To the Friends (1925)
God’s peace in our Lord Jesus Christ.
As most of you know, the first issue of Skjulte Skatter was published in January 1912. My dear brother Aksel was co-editor for seven busy years, until he went home to God in January 1919. His last greeting to the friends was, “Receive the doctrines pertaining to godliness; they work.” This issue marks the seventh anniversary of his death.
The paper has had several faithful co-workers, and I am thankful for their work. It pays to work, verbally and in writing. When we were in Denmark this summer, we met people who have been nourished for several years by the truths that appear in the paper. It is a fact that many people in this country have also come to light and liberation from sin and bondage through Skjulte Skatter. The paper has a special mission to lead people into a deeper spiritual life. For this reason, all those who are seeking a godly life should know about it and read it. Pray for the paper, and do what you can to spread it, for in this way you also will share in its mission.
Thanks for fellowship in the year that has passed. May God’s kingdom come with the new year.
