Very often, many believers think of their personal spiritual pleasure. Enjoying spiritual sweetness is often the highest goal in their life. However, Jesus’ goal was the Father’s good pleasure. Many people are used to having the Father satisfy them so that they feel His pleasure, but Jesus was used to satisfying the Father so that the Father could be pleased with Him. It was Jesus’ food to do the Father’s will so that the Father could be pleased with Him whether He spoke about His sufferings on Mount Tabor or when He ended them on Calvary.
