To Our Subscribers

Another year has rolled by into eternity, never to return. How have we used this past year? Has the image of Christ become more manifest in us? Life is serious. We must live in such a way that we die while we live. Christ is preparing His bride, so let us be watchful in prayer. A great deal is written in this issue of Skjulte Skatter about prayer. God, who guides all things, has Himself provided these articles for us, and I am convinced we will learn something from them. We have read about Molinos, who in his time was a leader of prayer groups in Spain, France and Italy. He suffered and died for his faith. We do well to take heed to what he writes about prayer.

A German doctor of theology, Johannes Muller, who is still alive, wrote about “the inexpressible sighs of prayer.” His writings show that he is a man of God and is one who understands what it means to hear what the Spirit says to the church. Just as we crack open hard nuts now at Christmastime, there can also be some things in his article that are hard to understand. But read it thoroughly, many times, and you will experience that there is a sweet kernel within the shell—excellent Christmas fare.

We wish all readers of Skjulte Skatter a blessed Christmas. Thank you for the year that has passed. May God’s rich blessing be over the year to come.
