Conference in Horten November 2-5
Elias Aslaksen:
Boldness of faith is related to trusting God, relying on the Lord. Then it is a matter of course that I will overcome. Boldness of faith is not that I—trusting in my proficiency and oratorical skills—stand up, knowing that I can acquit myself well. Neither does it mean that someone can seize the opportunity because of his obstinacy and audacity. These things are more like the opposite of the boldness of faith. All those who now know in all uprightness that they love God above all things, have all good reason to be very bold. The fact that you have difficulties and have failed must not hinder your boldness. You are the one I exhort to be bold, singing with grace in your heart before God. Go ahead, leaping and dancing, rejoicing in the truth. We cannot please God without faith. All things are possible to the one who believes. Everything that we encounter is for the purpose of our salvation. Therefore we can exult and triumphantly overcome with rejoicing; singing, playing, leaping, and dancing, trusting in Him. The boldness of faith is blessed. If we have grieved, we shall laugh. All the worst things, all possible difficulties that you may encounter are there so that you may know salvation and have an abundance of life. Praises and exultation are evidence of faith. By the word of faith we have been put in heavenly places. Is there any reason we should wait to rejoice right away? Thanks be to God who gives us the victory! Be bold in Jesus Christ. Live in this boldness night and day, praising Him. Afflictions are there for the purpose of overcoming them. You shall be the head and not the tail, in Jesus’ name. Because I believe, all this becomes reality, and everyone who lives in it will understand it. Thanks be to God who of course always gives us the victory in Christ. God shows us our sins, our darkness, because we, of course, shall overcome triumphantly for the benefit of all God-fearing people on earth. God Himself loves each one who makes use of the boldness of faith.
