ends with this issue. We thank God for the past ten years. It has been three years since my dear brother Aksel went home to the Lord. However, he still speaks to us through his writings, and this is powerful evidence that he was fervently gripped by love for God, for souls and for the work.

During the early years, there were persistent efforts to prevent the publication of Skjulte Skatter. Whole districts cancelled their subscriptions after preachers raged against it, saying the truths in the paper must not be allowed to see the light of day. Nonetheless, God was with us, so it was futile for people to work against us. To be sure, the number of subscribers is not very high, but with confidence in God and in the work He has given us in the religious arena, we continue to root up and plant—all according to the grace God gives.
