Praying Yourself Into Darkness

There are many people who pray themselves into the deepest darkness. They call out to God: “Bless me! Bless me!” and at the same time they are so uptight and tense in their spirit that they end up in a mole hole, spiritually speaking.

This is utter unbelief. Stop! Use your understanding if you have any.

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ . . . .” Therefore: He has blessed us with all spiritual blessings. So open your spirit with understanding, fully believing, quite calmly, by quietly giving yourself to God.

You need to understand that you cannot receive when you press yourself together into darkness. God is light!

Seek God with an open, upright heart. Then you will meet Him.
