Do Not Neglect to Meet Together

This summer we had a couple of small Bible conferences here in Horten. Friends from Brevik, Sandefjord, Drøbak and other places came Sunday morning and traveled home again the same evening. They brought a picnic lunch and hot coffee with them, and we rented the Good Templar Lodge and the adjoining kitchen.

We all agreed that these two gatherings had a tremendously blessed and profitable effect, especially for the many young people from Drøbak. It would be a good idea if the friends who live close to one another in other parts of the country could also do something similar now and then when the opportunity arises. That strengthens fellowship. When people get along well together and serve one another, everyone benefits. The effect is that God’s kingdom is promoted in every way. May God bless the friends in every place. Remember to pray for the friends who live in the far north in Finnmark. Write them a letter now and then, but don’t expect a reply. I myself have seen how happy they are when they receive mail. If you send letters to Br. Ole P. Strømme, Østervågen, Vardø, he will be glad to read them in the meeting. However, you shouldn’t expect that he will be able to answer them all.
