God’s Goodness

Just think! God’s goodness and mercy pursue us all the days of our lives! Therefore: The Lord’s servants, his angels, together with everything and everyone (all things are His servants), run after us with their “laps” filled with pure goodness, with orders to load us down with it.

What a powerful and true picture this is! How happy we must be—as many as He has received! This is not just a brief celebration or a momentary goodness, for we shall live in God’s goodness in all eternity, in harmony with His nature.

Think about that!

Then comes the next step: Just as He is to us, so we are (or can be) to each other. Therefore: A servant of Christ pursues souls with his “lap” filled with good things with which he yearns to permeate them. This is how every conscious member of the body acts when he is in the right relationship to his God.
