Wisdom’s Intimate Fellowship
The Spirit of wisdom is sensitive and cautious. He always stays in the background if we are busy with something else; He comes near only when we are at rest in our mind. He is reserved when He announces Himself, but when you entrust yourself to Him, He becomes communicative. His words are gentle, and we do not know whether we are surrendered to Him or He to us; however, intimacy is established and a covenant is made. His words are like clarified wine; His purity creates joyful devotion. He is gentle like a mother, firm like a father, and strong like a mighty man. His nature is open and giving; His strength is preserving. His words are like pure crystals, firm and clear, yet soft as wax, full of life-giving truths. His presence is our exaltation; His truth is our strength. His faithfulness is unchangeable. If we leave Him, He waits for us; if we seek Him, He meets us joyfully. His faithfulness is humbling; His love chastens and causes us to submit. His greatness makes us small; He leads us to wisdom on the paths of chastisement. He leads us away from ourselves; He sets us free from everything, and separated from everything, He explains everything to us. Blessed is the one who comes away from himself and sits alone with wisdom. He transforms those who have intimate fellowship with Him into His own nature, and He gives Himself to them in order to serve them. Blessed is everyone who has intimate fellowship with wisdom.
