485. Prayer Day Conference 1936
“The city is laid out as a square; its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the reed: twelve thousand furlongs. Its length, breadth, and height are equal.” Rev. 21:16.
The form of the city, which is the bride, the holy Jerusalem, is beginning to take shape more and more. We noticed this at this conference as well. Everything is developing cubically. God’s love, knowledge, and wisdom deepen in our hearts from conference to conference, so that our fellowship becomes more sincere in the love of the Spirit.
This time we had several “long distance travelers” amongst us: brothers Brede, Schytt, and Christensen from Schleswig; sisters Emma Hansen and Kobbeltvedt from Copenhagen; brother Ole Normann Strømmen from Engenes, Nordland; and brother Waldemar Hammer from San Francisco, USA. There were also friends from Hallingdal, Kristiansand, Trysil, Hønefoss, Oslo, Fredrikstad, Tønsberg, Sandefjord, etc.
It is amazing how God blesses us far beyond what we understand to pray for.
The testimonies were varied and comprehensive, and nearly everyone praised God for the liberating power of the truth. God be honored for everything.
