483. Nesbyen Conference 1936

We met with over three hundred friends. Most of them came by bus from Oslo, Horten, Fredrikstad, Sandefjord, Hokksund, Måløy, and other places. The Bergen friends came by train. There were also three friends from Copenhagen. A bus came from Trondheim with sixteen new friends.

It was good to hear the many testimonies. Several young people broke through to the baptism of the Spirit and the gift of tongues.

When we traveled home again, we understood that everyone was happy and thankful for the conference.

The annual conference in Hallingdal has been a great blessing to us over the years because the friends from East and West Norway can meet here and share what is on their hearts. The community hall is large and spacious, and there is a big, grand dining room with kitchen and cloakroom on the same level. We have had meetings out in the open air in the forest, and many have already been baptized in the river. The sisters who live in Nesbyen do their best both regarding accommodation and catering. When everyone does their best, then the many meetings at the conference can only be a blessing.
