481. Report from the Mission Field 1936

Brothers Bratlie, Aksel Smith, and Elihu Pedersen have now been working in Trondheim for a couple of months. God has blessed the work so that many have received greater light.

Brother Skotland and I traveled up there before Pentecost and were with the friends for six days. It was a joy to see how thankful the large congregation was for what they had heard from the young brothers. There was revival in every way—older Christians made right old sins, sinners were saved, and several were baptized with the Holy Spirit.

We had meetings at brother E. Thorsrud’s place in Koppang, both on the trip up and the trip home. He and his wife also went to Trondheim for a couple of days. Brother S. Bratlie came along to the Pentecost conference in Horten and traveled to Copenhagen on Pentecost Monday.

Brother Aslaksen, Skotland, and others have recently been in Hedalen, and their work has been a blessing there.

Truly God is working together with us everywhere, and when He is for us, who can be against us? Bible studies have been especially effective because people are led into God’s Word and into God’s light. They learn to walk in the light and to do God’s will—to be obedient to the faith. In time it will become evident how many people really are obedient to the faith.
