430. Prayer Day Conference 1928

Another blessed conference is over and has joined the ones which are behind us. We are left with the memories and the blessings.

We received good telegrams from Vardø, Måløy, and Fredericia in Denmark. Warm thanks for these. It was a joy to see all the dear friends again from Bergen, Hemsedal, Hallingdal, Drammen, Oslo, Drøbak, Fredrikstad, Sarpsborg, Sandefjord, Kristiansand, and many other places. Three sisters and a brother came from Denmark. Everyone was happy and thankful to see one another. The cross binds us together in an amazing way, and people had all kinds of amazing experiences to share with one another. People were chatting together all over the place, so every corner was buzzing with conversation. Brother Aslaksen was tireless both during and between the meetings. May God bless his work. Many other brothers were also very active, and that blessed us all richly. The scope of the work at these conferences is huge. We hope to have some of the testimonies written down in the next issue of the paper. Brother Aslaksen accompanied the friends to Fredrikstad and Sarpsborg. The Danish friends remained for some days, and God opened the heart and ear of a Danish brother and a Danish sister who attended the conference for the first time. They traveled back happy and thankful. Oh, may God bless and keep them! God has taught us how to work in the right way both in conferences and in the other work. We are thankful to Him for this.
